Building the entrepreneurial fabric of small communities.
“I know that I am an entrepreneur, a small business owner and I can say this with far more conviction now.”

Economic Development Through Education
Every entrepreneur needs a deep understanding of their multifaceted business to truly thrive. Through Biz Ed. For Successful Towns, The Small Biz Pathfinders develops small business education programs to help owners learn essential business foundations and connect with their peer business communities.
Our goal, with our team of advisors, is to bring customized programs to communities that they cannot access anywhere else. The curriculum emphasizes subjects that pair well with group discussion and require peer-to-peer exploration and subject-expert clarification. Depending on geographic location, specific topics, and budget, we prioritize in-person cohorts for the best connection.
Developing and running a community-based business program requires coordinating a large number of elements. Through our experience, The Small Biz Pathfinders has developed a system that works for both the participants and the sponsoring entity.
In partnership with Oregon City’s Economic Development Department, we conceived and coordinated an innovative small business education program.
An SBDC educator for retailers, product makers and e-commerce sellers, and so much more.
